I really like Neptune OS.
For some reason, however, I cannot get Krunner to find my Freeplane files.
I have looked on the KDE forum and can't find an answer.
Could anyone please suggest what I could try and do so that I can happily stay with Neptune OS?
Krunner is using the baloo database for searching. So whatever filetypes you configure in "Plasma Search" it can find and list. Take a look maybe if the folder where you have the files is blacklisted in systemsettings -> file search. Also make sure it is turned on for it to find the files. If it was turned off be aware that indexing depending on how much files you have might take a while and use some ressources.
I really can't see what to do to get krunner to find Freeplane files (with the .mm extension).
File search is turned on and indexing the correct folder (in which it finds my other files) - but it still can't find these Freeplane files unless the file is in the Recent category.
Any suggestions would be welcome.
Check if baloo is running correctly. You can do this with the command
Maybe its just still indexing or has another issue.
