Not nagging here, just curious.
I trust that when Debian Bullseye is released, we will see a new version number of Neptune?
As I said, don't want to nag, merely curious. Thanks.
Yes Debian Bullseye will be the base of the next version. There are several bugs still in it we need to fix or workaround and we need to adapt some of our programs aswell for the new base. So Neptune 7 will not come out with the release of Bullseye but a little bit later.
Update: Works are going on. But it will take some restructure here and there and updating of tools against Qt5 aswell. I need a bit of time to update the base and apps and retest everything against the new base. Neptune 7 will feature a brand new design with a new icon theme and such aswell. As I am currently doing the work on this and the new base all on my own the release for Neptune 7 will delay for a few months.
Thanks for the update. So is Neptune no longer developed by a '3 man team' or did you just draw the short straw for this job?
PrimeSuspect That is true. We are down to 1 developer and 1 web admin.
